Dealer is offering a vehicle because delivery of ours has been delayed due to Irma. They asked if we had insurance on the one to be delivered, and we do. Just wondering how that works. We wreck a car without matching VINs to what we have insured and it's covered?

yes you are covered as long as you have comp and collision coverage.

Temporary replacements are always covered by your policy in Louisiana.

With State Farm we call it a temporary substitute. You'd be fine.

I have Shelter Insurance and always have full coverage insurance regardless of what I'm driving. THought all insurance worked that way, but I've never had any other insurer.
