Unless you receive extremely cheap or free admission you aren't missing anything, it is essentially a Landry's restaurant with an aquarium attached although the restaurant has a nice tank located inside.

Lol. Well Atlanta to me was the benchmark I mean if you can put a damn whale shark in a aquarium you must be doing something right.

I haven't been to Atlanta yet but I have heard that it is impressive. I should make a weekend out of it the next time the Tide are in Atlanta.

Is there a cuisine that I should be on the lookout for in the area. My buddy was amazed at how great Hogfish tasted and I really want to try it.

Lots of new York/New jersey snow birds down there. My kids loved the Boston Red Sox and big poppy growing up so we made a couple of trips to watch the devil rays play the red Sox in Tropicana field. My kids wore their #34 red Sox jersey with pride you wouldn't believe how many old arse Yankee fans they had especially when we went ate before the game. Old birds hated Boston.

We went down around March of this year and you are correct we saw alot of ohio, Michigan and Ontario Canada plates but they were just visiting to get out of the cold. The snowbirds we are talking about are the ones that own homes in the Tampa area and stay there during the winter months.

My wife and I go down to Tampa about 3 times a year. She lived there for ten years and we usually stay with her friends when we go so I stay in the loop down there.
