Good grief I'm an idiot. I let the overbearing stress of the current state of the oil industry reduce me to the decision making level of a mentally challenged 3 year old. I somehow navigated 3 nightclubs and ended up at a very NOT APPROVED hotel several blocks from my house. I walked out the lobby without a fracking clue where I was at 6:30 in the morning. Thankfully I had the sense to pay a taxi driver an entire night's wages to stand by for me and he had the decency to be there when I walked out in a complete stupor this morning.
I pretty much broke very single rule for what not to do in a third world county last night and lived to tell the tale. I'm too old to behave in such a reckless manner.

Runways are for landing and departing only, they are never used for sitting out a delay. You were either relocated on the terminal ramp or in a penalty box along or near the end of a taxiway.
