Heading to the LSU game in Orlando with my bro and my sons. They all went last year to Louisville game. I had to work. This year I took a 1 day vacation.

I'm working Christmas again this year. Should be off new years. Will watch the game from my living room.

One of the cane farmers that I know, whose nearly entire operation is all low lying heavy land once told me,
I wish my great grandpa was alive. I'd ask him "Of all the places in Earth to farm, why did you pick this shite?"

Not bad, one of the damn Florida bowls was at ten in the morning a few years ago.
I remember getting off at 6:00 and pregame was already on 98.1

They have some hard farming here. Those guys have to get after it most of the time. I'm not jealous.

After Lili in 02, the plant sent us to assist in getting some of the agricultural pumping stations back working.
Without taking a full measure of where we were what we were looking at, the helper that I had with me asked that same farmer if he tried running his pumps yet.
He looked at him, incredulously and replied "shite no."
My helper asked why not.
He said "Because I'd only have to pump down the entire fricking Gulf of Mexico, that's why."

My grandparents lived in Broussard right outside of Youngsville I remember going over to their house often and my grandpa having fresh sugarcane. They lived right across from a sugarcane field. He would cut up a stalk and myself and my brother would suck out the juice. Great memories

They were fighting all game. Seattle got butt hurt at the end when jags were in victory formation. Even Leonard Fournette got into at the end.

You mentioned a hurricane earlier jacksonville area went almost 60 years without being hit by a hurricane. The last 2 years we have had Matthew and Irma. They have been very destructive along the northeast florida coast where I live.
