Rodger Daltrey has been playing it for 40 years and hasn't mastered it.

It's surpassingly harder then you'd think. And I play 5 different percussion instruments and drums. Though, I haven't bothered practicing it at all.
I only have one because a dude gave me his antique Ludwig tambourine at Mom's Ball after playing it a couple minutes.

The secret in the tambourine is knowing when to flick it, and when to tap it.
Or so I've been told.

Funny you put that at number 3.
Because the only bongos I'll ever okay are a set of triple bongos made by Latin Percussion.
These things are pretty badass. The 5.5" opens up the tonal range like you wouldn't believe.

Evening!
Been awhile. Wish it was on better circumstances.

Yep. Getting a consistent wrist flick take a little practice. I'd probably be better at it after having played a Balkans brass band from for a few years.
Though if I'm playing a gig, I'd rather have a hot chick playing the tambourine, while I play the rest of the beat.

Last time I played bongos I was shitfaced in Barbados with a steel drum band.
I'll learn the steel drums one day.

All my people are safe.
Dad got about a foot of water in his house.
Cousin is stuck downtown near Buffalo Bayou, but on the 5th floor and safe.
Street has flooded a few times today, but draining well during the breaks. Just on high alert because of my nerves.

You in Houston or LC?
I have family in LC and a camp down in Carlyss. I don't think we will be making back over for Labor Day.
