I love a good tb. I'm part of an off track listing group that places them when they retire. We have more trouble homing the short ones. I love my 15.2 guy. Closer to the ground when I fall 
I have a hard time riding anything with a draft cross and no engine. Even the fancy imported warmbloods. I much prefer a pull ride to a kick ride

True, but when out hunting, even the plugs are energized. I've been out on a four hour hunt with one who didn't tank out.
My favorite horse growing up was a 15.2 tb mare we brought back from Hawaii. She was a great horse. Would do anything, and she had a great touch (you could hold her back with a soft touch even using a rubber bit). We had to change her to a brood mare eventually. She was always wanting to be first - so when you loosened the reins for her to jump she'd take off like a jet and hit the jump at high speed. At the time, I had a blast but now it would probably be terrifying
Lahaina Lassie was her name. She was a blast to ride.
I'm reminiscing tonight.

Mine does not have a soft mouth 
I've got him pretty sensitive to seat and voice on the flat but the second he's on course it's all out the window. He moves great and jumps a 10 but I had to give up on hunters because if it.
We are both happier in jumpers.
My guy still on the track is the opposite. Huge, easy, and wants to do the right thing. Nice mover too. Just hope he jumps well enough.
Bush is going to yell at me soon for talking horses
