I lost my job today, by email, at lunchtime. I kind of knew that it was coming because we just got bought and the deal was closing.
I have been smart about saving, so I am okay, but today was not great.
I have an interview with the new company in the morning, for a lesser position.
I won't generally share a lot personal on social media, but my support network is my kids, and I don't want to worry them about this.
