Apparently more people here agree with me. Also, the original post I replied to was factually wrong.

Most of the people on here have never lived in either Lafayette or Baton Rouge, but cling to what you’ve got, sweetheart

I lived in both;

go out of state.

But to compare I'd say Lafayette > BR for a family but BR if you are to move to a new area. Easier to meet people in BR because Lafayette is cliquish

I have not lived in Lafayette in a long time but T-Coons, Dwights, Lauras 2 off the top of my head. Also you can stop at many random gas stations and get better cajun food then anywhere in Baton Rouge.

I never said Baton Rouge has good Cajun food. I said that Lafayette doesn’t, either. And none of those restaurants make so much as a decent Cajun gumbo, much less anything else.

It has been a while. This they all suddenly start sucking? I guess you can't get any good boudin in Lafayette either.

In Lafayette? Not since Comeaux’s shut down. Around Lafayette? Yep, there’s some good boudin.

Happy to. Better than debating who has gotten more upvotes on their posts

You care about upvotes?????

Sad indeed…
Laffy has better schools than BR
Laffy has less crime than Br
Laffy has less traffic than Br
Facts all across the board….
