Well I have a business centric mind and the legalization of weed would provide a lot of tax money to state economies. Not to mention create jobs for folks who have a lower skill set.

I still think there are negative effects from long term use at the levels most recreational users consume it. I've seen it happen to people i know. Their minds just get fried.
There was an AMA on Reddit once where a marijuana researcher said it was most damaging to those under 25 because that was prime age of brain development. After that, they were good to go, but most people who consume are younger if i had to guess.
