I thought the DUI cop clearly asked him if he had anything in his pockets that would stick him... needles etc. Asked him twice if he had needles on him. Dude says no, nothing. I would have been confused myself, I think.

Yea it was clear he was impaired...tried getting him with narcotics on an insulin replacement pen and failed...but kept his word and let him off
