so you finished high school in 2008 as a 17 year old and you are now 26 years old, per your posts in here.
i know i have a college degree and live in a cardboard box, but that number stuff doesnt add up. my makeshift calendar on my GE fridge box home doesnt say its 2017.

I made ~$60k a year coming out of college about 10 years ago. I maxed out 401k, saved a little, and otherwise could afford most everything I wanted to do.

Well considering the medium household income in Louisiana is 44k I'd say yeah a single person can live just fine on 55k.
