Can someone help me understand why an outdoor stadium can only have 25% capacity for football games on Friday nights? Isn't it generally accepted that being outdoors reduces the risk of COVID spreading?

If I can go to Walmart or Church and have the building be at 75% why does the stadium have to be at 25%?

I forgot about that. It doesn't spread in the casinos but it does spread in the local bars.

Just another thing on a very long list of covid restrictions that make zero sense.

Trust me I am. I am just trying to wrap my head around the 25% capacity. Nothing makes any sense at all with it.

I thought it was initially said in the meeting with the Louisiana House of Representatives that it was 50%.

Save your brain some pain and just quit trying to figure it out.

NOTHING MAKES ANY SENSE ANYMORE.

Our school hasn't even said if they are going to allow family to come watch. They play next Friday so I hope soon they come out with some sort of plan. The 25% is fricking dumb when casinos can have 75%.

Yeah, 25% seems low.

OTOH - Games at Tad Gormley should be largely unaffected...

Where are you located? We don't have any kids that age anymore but I was told by a players mom that they were called to see how many tickets they would need -- they're trying to come up with a plan.

25% is just bullshite and I have ZERO skin in the game.

Sr parents and sr students should be allowed to go for sure
They can't get their sr year back and probably won't have a homecoming dance either.
Hopefully they can go to prom.

BR. My oldest is a Senior this year. She doesn't play football but she is a dancer. Also we are a private school.

It used to. Then they made everybody funnel through one door and it cured it.

I don't see anything in the guidelines about 25%. Where are you seeing that?
