That....is the point of why people are annoyed though.
You can't claim to be a company in support of lgbt rights, and then at the drop of a hat decide to put it in the backseat when it may cost you money.
At the very least, this shows a pathetic insincerity on the part of these companies.
It used to not be this way, btw. Back in the day, US firms would fight for what was right even if it affected their bottom line.
