At our hospital we've seen several kids come to the ER with gastritis caused from the spicy hot Cheetos. Something in the cheeto dust.


I don't know what it is about Mexicans and spicy Cheetos though. They LOVE them and it wasn't unusual to see a parent give their toddler spicy Cheetos.


Hell...our NPO signs at work used to have a picture of a bag of spicy hot Cheetos and a bottle of coke with a circle/slash over the picture to remind patients and family that the patient isn't allowed anything to eat.

Am I wrong though?
