My kids told me to back off on my egregious spending habits, so I assime they're contemplating my eventual demise.

Everybody wants to get to heaven, but noone wants to die to get there. I am not afraid of death because I don't believe in it. It is all about location. Everyone reading this has a day to take their last breath. If you live long enough you will see many die. I have. We don't want to leave the ones we love behind but time doesn't exist in heaven. We will all be together soon. If we all end up in the same place. Jesus is our only hope. And that is the only real Truth.

Acceptance, since I'm over 80.
I had that discussion with my Dr about ten years ago, after I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
I told him that I had been very fortunate. Girl of my dreams, had been my wife for 50 years, at the time. My two sons were healthy and educated. My four grandchildren were healthy. Now three are almost through college. One will have his Masters in Computer Science in May and has always made the Deans List. The reason that is significant to me... I flunked out of Louisiana Monroe in 1961. Then I joined the Navy, became a Missile Technician and made seven Patrols while protecting the USA during the Cold War.
I grew up picking cotton in North Louisiana. Life has been good.
What else is there?
