My father is in hospice care and wants to transfer (donate) vehicle to me. He is still mentally arware, coherent and wants me to bring title and draw up a bill of sale.
My question is without him being able to leave facility to get to a notary what is the best way to complete this transaction?
No power of attorney and this is the only item of value that needs to be transferred to me.
Thanks!

We are in Baton Rouge so I'm certain there is one. Thanks that never crossed my mind.

Probably a notary in the hospital. You will have to pay tax if the vehicle has any value.
