Looks like a lot of the baws will need a safe space. I have no problem with it.

Suggesting it is distasteful doesn't mean some of us are requesting intervention to have it taken down. I wouldn't commission the work, but people are free to do as they see fit.

If they can put up murals of Mike Brown and Sterling then why not good old Lee O.?

First and foremost, neither Brown nor Sterling were murderers. Secondly, what possible parallel do those two have to a LHO mural?

That theory was proved incorrect.

Donald Trump commissioned it to remind everyone that Ted Cruz's father killed JFK.

Yeah it is distasteful to say the least, and the defense is asinine.

What's the difference between this and confederate statues?

He didn't kill JFK. He was involved with Lee Harvey Oswald in New Orleans though. Probably with Guy Bannister and David Ferrie as well.

Are you arguing this should be taken down or the statues should be left up?

I'm in the latter group, but I see no reason to force this down too just because another group lost their mind about the statues.

I don't understand the argument from some of you in this thread. People have brought up Michael Brown and Alton Sterling as if LHO is some kind of white response to those murals. Other's are suggesting that if we can't have our statues then the LHO mural cannot stay up either.

Oswald was involved, but he didn't act alone.

And was most likely involved simply to be the patsy.

I think he scored the between the shoulder blades hit. I'm fairly confident of that. I also think he missed at least 2 other shots. I do not believe he scored the headshot.
