LDH back to reporting ... 2402 in hospital 9/1/21 for anyone who cares

Peak for this was seems to have been 3022 on 8/17.
And a question: Region 4 has 4 ICU beds but region 1 (NOLA) has lots. If I needed an icu bed and there were none here, wouldn't they just ship me to NOLA? Ideal? No .. but there are beds in the state per LDH info anyway.

I'm caring atm about space due to likely injuries requiring ERs or hospitalizations from hurricane recovery ... carbon monoxide poisoning, chainsaw injuries etc.

At this point you would probably be hard pressed to find a NOLA area hospital accepting admits from other hosptials.
