For calling someone out saying Ukraine has been nuked? I don’t think I’ve said anything bad tonight.

OML and I go after each other all the time. He's in the right here.

If a nuke had gone off our military would know instantly, it would be plastered all over the news, and auto alerts would likely be sent to every cell phone in the country.

In the last 2 pages...

Yep. My bag is packed.. granted it’s from a recent trip, but I see no reason to unpack it just in case. Just need to load up the firearms, some more additional clothes, and my food, and I’m going to the mountains if a nuke goes off.

I’m in Denver, where it’s heavily rumored Congress’ nuclear headquarters is below the airport. If the United States was founded today, the Capitol would probably be here. So yeah, I’m going to Buena Vista if shite hits the fan.

Side note, but Maajid Nawaz was on TimCastIRL tonight. Super smart guy and one of the few who actually knows what’s really going on: YouTube

Apparently Maajid destroys Tim in the last 30 minutes, so probably entertaining.

Yeah, frick off on the nukes thing. If that happens, we’ll all immediately be alerted to that. Wouldn’t surprise me if they used the Amber Alert system to inform the public on that. If they use a nuke, we won’t be questioning it.

If we're reading about a explosion on Tiger Droppings, it isn't a fricking nuke

He was responding to me when I said I'd be getting the frick out of dodge if Russia actually used a nuke. You aren't following the conversation.

Yeah, my thing is usually to go to town on public officials thinking they should be tried for war crimes and go over the top with it. I think I’m relatively calm here and encouraging other people not to post apocalyptic shite unless they’re sure about it.

When I post the former the thought goes through my mind “Should I post this?… Yeah why the hell not.” This one I can’t imagine being remorseful for tomorrow. You don’t say nukes have been ignited unless you’re sure, because that would provoke mass chaos and death if you’re wrong.

Ummm, sharing an interesting podcast and just not unpacking my luggage just in case something happens… OK. I don’t see why that’s all that bad.

You gonna call United Airlnes next? The fact that you "Have a bag packed" is laughable at best. It takes about 45 seconds to throw some clothes in a suitcase.

Did you even read what he wrote? He just got back from a trip and has been too lazy to unpack. He's not doomsday prepping.

Given my opinion I just told you about Denver being targeted and United being one of its major hubs, absolutely not. I told you I was going for the mountains if a nuke was launched, so that’s the very last thing I’d do. Can you read?

Yeah, my suitcase is in my 1st story. My bedroom is on my 3rd. Just don’t want to drag that big mother fricker up, and what’s going on in the world isn’t encouraging me to do so.

So are you "not unpacking in case something happens" or just being a lazy frick?

Southerners probably don't know this, but when the frost goes out of the ground it is very soft. Much moreso than after a rainstorm. The frost may be a couple feet into the ground so when it thaws that's about how deep the mud is when you drive anything with some weight to it onto it.

They even have a name for it in Russia; Rasputitsa

After the Germans started getting bogged down in the Russian rain and snow mud in October they were actually able to regroup and start gaining ground towards Moscow again once the ground froze in November.

Good to hear. If you’re ever in Denver, just let me know.

I used to have a place there but we retreated to Texas during Covid. Still try and make it to Breck a few times a year but the convenience of Park City, plus the DL hub at SLC are winning me over

Did Russia use a nuclear bomb tonight? Early indications says yes they did.

Nah, just a low cloud deck amplifying the flash.
