Hopefully Louisiana blue crab prices going down and we get to keep our best crabs at home since we can't ship them to Maryland for a little while.

"Chesapeake crabs" is a scam. The best blue crabs in the country come from Louisiana and we ship our best crabs up there and they keep the myth alive.

I've had them from both places multiple times. Must not be an aficionado. I haven't noticed much difference. The Chesapeake just doesn't produce enough these days to satisfy DC, Baltimore, Norfolk, and the surrounding areas.
