My dog is pissed off at the track hoe. I bitch at her for digging. And that yellow bastard gets to dig all it wants.

I've got two hours left. I just found out 10 minutes ago I'm switching to days on Monday. I'm about to leave the work crew and join the insomnia crew.

I'd be passed off at it too. I'll be lucky if I can get home this morning. The puddles here at the plant are freezing fast. Hope they get the bridges right so I can jump the bayou to get home.

It's 28 tonight. But that's a lot better than 13 last night. But after tonight, I can pack away the fleece jeans.

Looks like I'll be leaving shift work in a few weeks not knowing if I'll return. I'm torn by that.

You know you're getting fricked when Dan calls you to apologize for all the blinks.

You got a call from Dan? That's something special. You must have some serious connections.

No, just known him for years.

His dad took ill a while back and Dan asked if we could bring them on a brief tour. I don't recall if his father used to work here or where the nostalgia came from but we hooked him up. Could tell he really appreciated it. Good man he is.

I was surprised at the cane being flat on my way to work today. Not going to see snow like that for years to come.

Brother, that flat cane has the makings of a real disaster. At least the wind pushes it in one direction, this just flattened it every which way.

I haven't heard conclusively but I'm sure Ag Center guys are in high gear right now trying to assess the damage. I doubt there is any historical data or information from elsewhere in the world they can consult. Snow on cane is as unnatural as it gets.

The only thing I could think was how in the frick are they going to cut that, then it was crop damage from cold. Like you said, no data to look back on.

The wonderful thing about a combine is that it doesn't give a frick. Once the tracks are in the furrows, it is scooping up whatever is in between. Problem is when it is lodged that bad, a ton of soil inevitably get pulled in too.

Yeah man, those guys are going to be standing in icy, muddy ruts up to their chests hooking up chains to get shite unbogged this morning. Not much fun.

That's why I chose to make electric for a living. Only sloppy mess for me is my food.
