Someone accidentally firing off a round showing a gun to a friend in the parking lot?
A police chase in an urban area with shots fired on school grounds by non-students and which aren't directed at any students?
I get your point, but obviously the media (who are just political advocates with press badges) call these things "school shootings" knowing that no one in the public thinks "I wonder if it was a suicide or accident with no injuries". They know the public thinks "OMG Columbine!" and they obviously WANT to invoke that thought rather than provide more accurate information.
