if true why the hell is the guy getting so much shite

A. She died due to his driving. Even if she did have a fiance, how does that eliminate that this dude killed her?

B. He was married and i think we can all agree that marriage is vastly different than dating

C. Not a single one of us that I know are aware of this eventual engagement so I wouldn't go calling it an engagement...

Gotta love being down voted on your fricking friend dying though. frick you tigerdroppings

Nobody is down voting you for your friend dying. It was tragic. I think some people think the guy getting drug over the coals when we know nothing so far is a bit unfair. There is a chance two consenting adults got im a car and a terrible tragic accident happened. Until we know more, shitting over the guys character is unfair

Sorry for your loss

Of course two consenting adults got into a car. And he drove way beyond the speed limit and lost control of his car.

Don't care if he was drunk. He drove recklessly.

People are charged with this shite in hospital beds.

it doesnt eliminate her death, but its premature to crucify the guy when there arent many details out.

was he intoxicated? just how fast was he going? did she have a seat belt on?

And it doesnt exaclty paint her in the brightest picture if she was cheating on her deployed husband.

It sounds like the driver knew her family based on that Advocate article.. Obviously it still doesn't sound super innocent. Yes it was probably a dumb thing to get in the car and it probably isn't the first time she's been in the car and he's driven like an idiot. Doesn't mean she deserved to die regardless.

Also, just because a long term on again off again boyfriend asks the dad for her hand in marriage after she passes away doesn't mean that they were engaged or that he intended to do that before she passed.. It is far from "cheating on her deployed husband".. For all we know they weren't even actually "together" at the time. We can argue about the stupidity of "we're on a break" or being "together" but it isn't really up to us how they define their relationship and the truth is we just don't know the situation.

To be fair, I don't think the guy deserves to be crucified about this until facts come out either. I just don't get the point of crucifying either of them until some facts come out.

Bahahhahahahaha Kristi was not cheating in anyone with that dude.. And idk why the story says that but I'm almost positive she was not with the old boyfriend

Maybe he wanted to propose but that doesn't mean shite about her. If I died and my SO went around telling people we were "going to get engaged", that doesn't make us engaged. I had no part in that decision.

Kristi was not engaged.

I can't imagine the scenario wasn't that he was trying to show off to impress her.

It was one million percent thst. Apparently he would constantly put future drinks of hers on his tab and show up with things for her.

He's had a thing for Kristi for a long time. And sorry to his wife but that's known.

Kristi has never been an engaged nor married so hush with the deployed husband sympathy bullshite. The boy loved her I'm sure and she loved him. But Kristi was as far as any of us know.. Single.

He was behind the wheel...It didn't matter what she said or did.

And she very well may have. Hell maybe she got angry and grabbed the wheel. I got my DWI after someone grabbed my arm and I ran into the other Lane. I get it. Didn't make me less guilty of failing to maintain control of my vehicle.

Not being a frick head for once in your life might feel okay. Try it out.

I agree completely. The fact that this jack hole couldn't call Kristi's mother to try and console her, even though I know that is not anywhere near possible, once he found out they contracted with attorneys. What an arse. This just sickens me. I just don't have many words for his inaction. Those campaign loans/contributions must have helped keep his name out of public reach. Sickening.
