Does anyone know how long it will stay open? Do shelters wait until everyone has a place to go?

I would imagine it would be one of the last to close. Not sure what they do when there's only a few stragglers left.

After Katrina people were staying in shelters well after Christmas. I imagine something will be open as long as necessary, although there will probably be consolidation into fewer facilities as demand slows.
