Lake Charles Krewe of Omega Parade

Any of our SWLA baws and bawettes have experience in going to this parade? Wanting a family friendly parade to bring my family to.
Is this one a good parade? Is it traditional? Good floats? Decent throws?

I have no idea but, I mean, it’s a mardi grad parade in Lake Charles so I’m going to say it sucks.

I don't know your ethnicity, but that is a parade quite literally for black people. So if you're black you will enjoy it. It takes a weird route. The Krewe of Krewes parade is the big one. They are all family friendly as far as the crowds, but you will hear lots of Boosie lol. If you want turned down type of atmosphere and during the day the Jeeps on Parade followed by Motor Gras parades are also pretty fun and get to see some nice rides if you're into that.
