Someone told me there was a plan to loop through Moss Bluff during construction. Anyone know any of the plans? Sure doesn't seem like there are any easy ways to do this in either end of the Parkway.

Looking at Google Maps there is LA 378 to US 171, but it is two lanes and you have a draw bridge in the middle.
Not sure if that would qualify. If limited access was your only choice I-210 is pretty much your only safe bet unless there is an accident and backed up.
Or if you really wanted to avoid the area you could take the scenic drive from Beaumont on Texas/LA 12 (Turns into US 190) through DeQuency until you get to 171 or 165 and head south back to I-10 after the construction.
But there are 2 lane roads and probaby a few speed traps on eather route. But I would be willing to bet you are doing a troll job.

Started hitting the sauce early today, huh?

No. Everyone’s going to be forced to take 210 unless they want to go 20+ miles out of their way on two lane speed trap towns.
It’s gonna really suck for years.

The original bridge will stay up during construction of the new one.
