I think that theater is still in operation. I remeber going watch movies at the plaza back when it was a theater.
Also The Landing - Damn fine restaurant. Once they changed owners though it went down the crapper.

dude this whole thread is a joke, other than 5 years in BTR when I went to LSU I have lived in Lafayette my whole life

When I was in high school, LVC had just opened. It was a pretty nice muni. I went home for Christmas a few years ago and went out and played it.
