I worked at Charlie G's one summer and we'd always end up there or at Bennegan's

Freaking Bennagan's is hopping in Lafayette.

All of the service industry in Lafayette goes to Bennigan's after work because they stay open so late. I worked there for about 6 months in '98, but couldn't keep up with those alcoholics.

no burger joint on the corner of verot school and pinhook

Sorry Constant and Supa . . . It was on the corner of Kaliste Saloom and Pinhook. I think there is a Taco Bell in the same spot it used to be in. Having never lived in Lafayette while of driving age, I still get the names of those streets confused.

all the Lafayette area waiters and waitresses use to go to pete's on johnston after work for the service industry discount at the bar. That was always some easy poontang pickings

This is a major reason why I changed careers and went back to school.

Nothing like being 19 years old, working for a 27 year old who is on roids and invites you to threesomes every night.

Tenacious Tuesdays at Poet's was the all time DMILF/Sexretary pick place. They all had to be at work by 8am the next day so if you hadnt picked up by 10pm you were SOL

I would have been there in the late 70's early 80's. I remember mom taking us there for burgers after we played bitty basketball in the Comeaux gym (Pius League). Of course, it was a long time ago and the first to go is the memory . . . tis why I was asking.

No I'm pretty sure there was a Burger Chef there, which then evolved into Mr Cook. I'm not sure what is there now.
