So you're saying the head of the Criminal Investigations Bureau of LSP couldn't figure that out for himself?
So let me get this right....this guy is supposed to assume, with no proof, that this trip isn't legit...even though his boss just told him to go and he had basically no reason to question it.

Dude, just give up.
I'm all for taking this shite down but until we start lighting this stuff up with proof....then we basically get what we got out of the rodeo thing...a whole lot of rumors with no proof.
Baseless accusations with no proof and no real common sense as to why you make them actually hurt the cause to flesh out corruption and crime on the inside.

Seriously?? He had EVERY reason to question it. Using taxpayer dollars to attend an awards ceremony is San Diego as one of 15 GUESTS should send up red flags to anyone, especially when literally every dime spent is under close scrutiny because of budget problems. Attending training out of state is one thing, but to go to a party on the state's dime is completely different.

It sends up red flags from a fiscal perspective and I'd like to hold the financial folks and the superintendent accountable for approving the trip.....BUT there is no policy against taking these trips if they are approved. Again, expecting the subordinate to say no is laughable especially in an environment where rank and orders are king.

I assume you have heard of D.C. Mardi Gras? Take a look at the number of legislators travel to that party and pass it off as a legit business trip to DC paid for by the state....even our wonderful no lying ( ) governor took that one on the tax payers.

You said my post wasn't factual, it was, and I provided proof that he was involved. Whether anything was done to him or not was beside the point. There is a ton of unethical shite that gets overlooked in state government everyday.

The point was it wasn't factual in proving that he had done something that should prevent him from acquiring this new job.
If that wasn't the intent of your comment I'm not sure how it is relevant to this thread.

Last I checked this was a court of opinion, not a court of law. He has baggage, whether it was fully investigated or swept under the rug is the Inspector General's job. It is however very relevant to this thread.
