It probably would be, but I'm not your Canadian BiL so I don't much care. And I really only made the post as an inside joke, primarily to dph...

Manny randazzo.

It's like $50 but they do it.

They haven't been shipping for weeks now.

Unless that changed, could always call and ask or try it online.

I have shipped several over the years after buying. The medium sized king cake fits perfectly inside a FedEx, UPS, or USPS Priority Mail box.

ETA: I have never shipped with USPS Priority Mail but their boxes made good protection for when I carried them on a plane.

Why did you wait until Mardi gras day to send them one?

Randazzo packs it in a cardboard box and ships it in a refrigerated carrier.

No, I just put medium king cake in box and it fit like a glove. Never had any issues.

ETA: It was shipped overnight with next day delivery.

I can't say that with full conviction as I've never even met you.

I hope the cake shipping goes well.

Prior to Randazzo's opening last fall I had two king cakes and a Doberge cake from Gambino's mailed and the king cakes were just wrapped in cellophane but the Doberge was in a dry ice Styrofoam ice chest. Granted, Gambino's king cakes aren't as (idk how to say it) doughy (I guess) as a Manny Randazzo's but I think if its overnight just go buy a Caluda's from any Rouse's or Winn Dixie and mail it overnight it should be fine.

Again, y’all are a mess. You would have had to place the Randazzos order three or four weeks ago and the Haydel’s two weeks ago.

We do agree on some things.

You know those little long skinny balloons that they use to make balloon animals? You could get some of those and blow them up and surround your king cake inside the box to keep it from shifting anywhere.

I'm agreeable AND helpful.
