Hank Johnson is really worried about this. He thinks the island has sprung a leak in the bottom due to the volcano, and now it's sinking all the way to China.

Wait until the carbon capture factories that cost a few billion each come online. Suck it volcanoes.
ETA: I just chatgpt'd it...to reduce CO2 in earth's atmosphere by 1 part per million, we'd need to remove 7.8 billion tons from the atmosphere. The biggest projects would theoretically remove about 3 million tons per year. These things are the biggest boondoggle possible and we should never build a single one.
