Man. Pretty close to what I had by a few years. First car was an 87 GT convertible. White on white.

Did a similar thing for a buddy's 21st bday. His mom just passed from als/lou geghrigs a few months prior and his aunt, the will executor, stopped payments against the deceased's explicit wishes. We found the car 2-3 months later at a used car lot, bought it, and drove it up to auburn from florida.

One of the best days of my life honestly.
