Had a medical doctor advise me to drink six- 12oz beers in an hour. The quantity of fluid provides enough flow for the stone to move, and the alcohol provides for a bit of pain relief. It's worked for me several times.

I would legit hate to be doctor now. Everybody is an expert at Googling and making their own diagnosis.

i dunno - it hurts liek hell when i have them, but usually by the time i would get to the er - the attack would stop, and i would just go home. the worst I had i got 3 morphine shots that did nothing for the pain.

now i just deal with it - usually not even stopping working, or just walk the dog - walking for me helps a lot.

on the up side, i think i may be close to passing the one i have lol
