That kid badly needs a big brother or father figure in his life...Sad to see this- but it undoubtedly plays out a lot.
Right, this is how kids end up with unscrupulous people too, when they don't think they fit in anywhere else. He needs a tribe.

Funny enough, when i was young there was a kid a few houses down that had no friends and sorta of kept to himself.
I actually went and talked to him one day and i was his first friend he ever had. Interesting thing is kid grew up and became a fairly famous plastic surgeon now days.
It sucks when a kid gets pigeonholed into any role growing up. Kids change so much growing up in their appearances, interests, and dreams. There were some kids in elementary school while I was growing up that completely flipped their script by high school or maybe some time in college for late bloomers.
That’s what is so scary today with some parents and the left jumping on trans stuff with young kids. They are taking a statement, a brief interest in something different than expected, and even a slightly longer phase; and they are making it permanent before the kid has a chance to grow up and make up their own mind.
Growing up we all went through phases, but it was clothes, hairstyles, likes, dislikes, and so on. Those are temporary and still allow for growth, development, and an ability to change unlike mutilating genitals and stopping normal adolescent development permanently.

I saw that video a couple of days ago. It’s heartbreaking. My son is 15 and he is on the Spectrum. He is very social for someone on the Spectrum but socially awkward. Most kids didn’t start to notice until he was in 8th grade. That’s when some kids started to be mean to him.
He is extremely smart and a good looking kid. He’s 6’3” and you can see a lot of girls his age checking him out, but he doesn’t know how to act like the typical 15 year old kid. It’s hard to watch your kid not being able to connect with most kids his age. Kids can be awful to those that are different.
I’m not sure what the motivation was if the guy that posted the video. I do think it’s important for parents to talk to their kids about being kind to kids that are different. My 9 year old is amazing with his older brother.

I've been in a similar situation at a similar age. There's a difference between bullying, and an entire young world turning against you. It fricked me up for a long time. I would venture to say I didn't get truly over it for 15 years or so. That level of loneliness kills the soul.
That hit to close to home for me and I probably shouldn’t have watched it. My 10 year old boy is growing up in the same neighborhood I did and the difference between the 80’s and 2023 when it comes to kids playing outside/roaming around in a neighborhood that had people looking out for children is night and day.

Even without kids in the house, he would have been invited in. The kid is lonely and looking for attention. I hope that he doesn't knock on the wrong door. Their are some very sick folks out there. Prayers for the young man and sll the children in the world right now. We should all be their keepers.
