Not a progressive thing. Just never met anyone who proudly displays the rebel flag who wasn't some mouth breathing slack jaw. Successful, educated, non-trashy people typically know better. They may be closet racists, but the lack of pride in their bigotry at least denotes intelligence.

The only thing to be taken from this story is how gullible dumbass celebrities will bandwagon on "charity" cases and start running their mouths about it without actually using their brain

They make a video about being bullied actually trying to teach a good lesson. They share it with friends and it goes viral. Now people investigate the people and start calling them racist, i.e. bullying, the child again. I feel sorry for that kid, he finally thinks he is getting some support and here comes the loony left. 
He is just a kid that is being bullied, his parent's political views have nothing to do with this..., now they are on world wide news being accused of being racist.
