I used to despise national conventions, because outside of the few SEC chapters and maybe a west coast chapter or two, there was nothing but homos from 10 man chapters at some unknown liberal arts college in the northeast. The kind that sing karaoke in the living room of the chapter house while giving each other reach-arounds.
For two years, our national president was this awesome alum from Alabama. He pulled a Trump and told the whiney small chapters to eat shite while he gave all fraternity resources and backing to the 20 largest chapters (most of which were the best). Unfortunately, he was voted out because there were 100 shitty chapters and 20 cool chapters, so the numbers just couldn't work out.

In the late seventies a chapter (maybe lambda chi-not sure) had been shut down because guys were dealing out of the house. That was an unusual and drastic step to take at the time, and it put the fear of god in the other LSU chapters for years afterward. Plenty of people smoked weed, and a few did coke. But you didn't do it in or around the house under any circumstances.

The frat guys at my school were losers. Its not over opinionated at all.
I beat the shite out of this one SAE. He had it coming. I was filming a baseball game at a lab. Drunk SAE wouldnt stop messing with the $25,000 camera i was using for my class. Thought since his dad was a huge rich donor he could do whatever. Told him multiple times to leave me alone and he finally threw beer in my face(alcohol not even allowed in the stadium). Beat the shite out of him. His dad was right there and said he was going to pull strings to get me kicked out of the school. Told the dad he is a shitty father and he wanted to throw down too until the cops broke it up. His son got arrested for public intoxication and nothing happened to me. Lol.

KA somehow avoided being nuked. No idea how they pulled that one out of their arse. You're missing Acacia, though.
DKE will never get the boot. Greek Life has dozens of pages worth of dirt on them, but know they can't touch them. It's not worth the trouble as long as it's kept on the DL.
