When I watched the entire conversation, yeah, it's a classic manic episode from a guy with bipolar disorder.

Feeling like Superman, making claims he's a genius on Freud's level, being all sped up and bouncing topic to topic...all of it is classically manic.

I mean, look at how fast he punches in his cell lock code even. Being sped up, flight of ideas and narcissism are big time signs of mania.

I'm a pretty big fan of his music...I've remained a fan through the NUMEROUS fricked up things he's done and said. You needn't go any further than to read some of his lyrics to understand he's a very, very troubled man...that was true when he was politically ambivalent, when he called out Dubya, and continues as he snuggles up to Trump. I'm quite convinced he doesn't know wtf he's doing, really.

I also don't believe he has any political leanings whatsoever. If you listened to that rant, or any of his previous rants, he's FULL of contradictions. Not just partisan contradictions, but he often contradicts his own beliefs. He seems to appreciate Trump the man, not Trump the president. It's not difficult to recognize the personality similarities between the two men if you strip away all of the political/president/MAGA stuff.

So, yes, it's quite fine to ask yourself wtf is wrong with Kanye ANYTIME he's being interviewed, in the Oval or not. The dude isn't well and hasn't been well for a very long time. Which, of course, makes me wonder who the hell on Trump's team thought it'd be a good idea to bring him into the Oval, but whatever...

This isn't the case, at all. Democrats tell minorities to look at actions, not empty rhetoric.

Which party is purging minorities from voter rolls?
Which party is caging little brown kids?
Which party wants to do away with Medicaid and welfare?
Which party refuses to acknowledge what Kaepernick stands for?
Which party gerrymanders the frick out of congressional districts to split up, and diminish the power of, minority areas?
Which party supports the private prison system and pushes through laws to fuel that system with young minorities?
Which party refuses to legalize or decriminalize marijuana knowing it will reduce drug convictions of non-violent criminals, disproportionately minorities?
Which party supports school choice programs to segregate schools again?


I could go on.

Just because politicians from the right talk about being a better alternative, doesn't mean that we should ignore the way they vote and the things they vote for. They've become a party of unabashed white supremacists who hope and pray minorities are too fricking dumb to realize their words are meaningless. Likewise, they're also hoping that conservatives who don't have a racist bone in their bodies are too fricking dumb to realize they're voting for racist policies.

That’s all off the top of my head. Kanye has always been insane, the media is just reporting on it more now because now it fits their narrative
