Back in high school, in Alexandria, we just used "Big John's" (or maybe big jims) gas station. Would sell to almost anyone, especially if you had been introduced. I remember my buddy went in once, for the first time, and the owner just looked at him, and looked at the kid next to him, and said "Look, I dont know you, but I know him. I trust him. Can I trust you" He said yes, and he sold him the case of beer. I'm pretty sure Big John's was hit several times for selling to minors, but maybe that was just a rumor. I dont believe it is open anymore.

Living on a Marine base, we'd get the good looking h.s. senior girls to ask some young Marine to buy us booze(18 was the drinking age). It worked every time.
