You will become filled with amazement that your parents did all the things they did with you and that your parents still managed to keep up the house, the yard, the gardens, the cooking,the events, the trips, the sports, the illnesses and still managed to find time for church, friends and each other because you're going to be wondering, at times, how you will ever do all that yourself, yet...most do.

Congrats, your life is no longer your own, but is now responsible for care, feeding, clothing, educating and molding someone else and you will always, always, always, no matter how old they get, want to protect them from harm.
