we wait 53 days until Juno gets to its closest point in Jupiter's orbit and they start collecting the first set of data

they will turn on the camera in a day or two and get some pictures though

NASA is generally not very good about generating publicity with its missions and endeavors. Occasionally they put together good material (ref the trailer posted earlier)... however for some reason nobody covers it and it gets buried on NASA TV. Just trying to do my small part to promote space exploration.

Totally agree. Even if someone doesn't follow this stuff, they make it interesting and easy to follow.I just wish they would steer people to it more than they do. Promote it (other than on their website, NASA TV and maybe a 10 second spot on the national news). It's just a blip on the national radar.

NASA has a great snapchat as well.

In the previous weeks they have shown clips of booster rocket tests, mars missions, ISS footage.

It's pretty cool
