It’s near the old South Park Mall. That part of Shreveport was once thriving, but it’s been long dead. However, there are far worst areas of town.

The Cargill sports complex is very near there. We spent many hours on those baseball and soccer fields when we lived in Shreveport, and it always felt like we were close to the ghetto, but could get in and out safely.
