I do; it is definitely implied. Nukes are mostly described in terms of their power, where conventional bombs are described based on size. and this article intentionally compares the two based on size if an attempt to imply that the US used something that would cast the US in the most negative way possible.

Sure, CNN is more subtle than this. But it's a good example of the kind if fake news that they report everyday.

They use wording like that all the time...but can fall back on plausible deniability. "OHHH NOOO WE MEANT THE PHYSICAL SIZE OF THE BOMB!!!"
