Joe Rogan Experience is live with Elon now on YouTube. About an hour in. Very interesting to say the least. Drinking whiskey, flying cars, tunnels, magnetic roads, etc...

Can't tell if it's helping or hurting his cause. I'm intrigued, but not sure it would make me want to invest in him. This is the first extended interview I've ever watched of his (Musk).

Oh the horror! I'm sure Elon will regret that one in the morning once the news cycle begins, although it didn’t look like he inhaled imo. I’d imagine he would have at least let out a little cough also, cheifing Rogan’s stash. He seemed a little more subdued after, especially once he got the text asking WTF had he done. Probably just nerves at that point.

Is it known that Elon is clearly some sort of absurdly high-functioning autistic dude? Watching his mannerisms and ticks during this interview, it's insane.

Artistic or autistic? Either autistic or he’s just taking his time to dumb it down for the audience best he can. I mean the dude deals with rocket scientists daily.... or he’s just an alien.

Good catch, obvious typo, autistic.
This sort of AI / brain function discussion is so trippy and interesting to me.
The part about the cortex "thinking" side of the brain really being at service to the lymbic "feeling" side of the brain was super interesting. Musk basically said that while most of us think we think and make decisions rationally with our cortex, we actually make the decision based on the feeling of our lymbic brain and then the cortex tries to find the data to rationalize that.
Zero clue if that's true or not, but it's interesting.
