When you are asked what your weaknesses are, really be honest and upfront. Dont give the standard stereotypical responses. Most of the time companies see young people who are self aware and honest as coachable and worth investment.

Should I have a brief understanding about the company's
Ummmm.. Yeah probably so. I would say it shows that you are somewhat aware of the job you are applying for. Knowing what the company does will give you a better understand of that. Plus, its more information you are going into the interview with that you can use to bullshite if you need to. Sometimes its a good idea to ask question. Even if you already know the answer, sometimes it just looks good to ask certain questions so the more information you know will allow you to quickly think of something to ask.
Just like anything you are dealing with, its best to know as much as possible. But don't be a "know it all". Be confident, show that you have a general understanding of the company you applied for a job to, but let them see you are excited about learning more. It depends on how good of a bullshitter you are, but at least, remember the basics. Dress appropriate, show up 10-15 mins early, don't make them think you are not interested in the job by not asking questions.. Even if you know the answer to something, ask something just to show more interest. Don't just know about the specific job you are applying for, but know how it fits into the company you are interviewing with.
And fill a sock up with rapped nickels and put it in your pants to make it appear you have a huge one. That's always a sign of confidence.

Makes you seem desperate. Companies are like women, they only want people who don't want them, act like you don't give a shite and they'll throw money at you.
This ^^^^^ Remain aloof and pull up Facebook on your phone midway through the process. They'll see that you are a multi-tasker and tech savvy.
Bring your mom and / or dad. They'll have questions for the company guy.
Don't say, "doing your wife."

Show up 10 mins early.
Prepare the answer for "tell me about yourself."
Bring a leather notebook thing ($15 at Office Depot) with your resume on nice paper inside. Make a few copies.
Remember who you meet so you can email them a thank you follow up after. Always follow up!
Smile.
Research them on LinkedIn before.
Store a pen on the inside of your suit jacket so you don't have to ask for one ever.
Shine your shoes.
Don't seem desperate. Let them know you are interviewing at multiple places if they ask... it makes you a hot commodity.

Prepare some solid questions to ask them. They want to know you have an interest in the company and that you're not just looking for a paycheck. Ask the interviewer how the company values their particular department as well as the position you are interviewing for. Good luck.

Go to the social tonight that they're putting on. You'll meet the people who will be interviewing you tomorrow and it'll ease a lot of your nerves. CID is a lot less scary than you think. Say you would like to work in the field, ask about new jobs they've just started on. Research a few jobs and ask about them specifically. Bring a nice binder and paper. Most of the companies there are very laid back. You'll be fine as long as you aren't a complete arse hat. Email them the next day thanking them for interviewing you.
