Colbert been a one trick pony since Trump won in 2016. His whole show was based around bashing Trump. Even when Biden was in office it was bash Trump. Late night television died when Letterman retired. I know his politics is probably left leaning but the show was entertaining and not a political messaging vehicle. Imo.
