If they're going to release everything, why review them first? What is the "investigation" for? If they're merely cataloging and collating, why put some random inexperienced (but politically loyal) congresswoman in charge instead of an actual historian or archivist?
I'm sure this group of politicians wouldn't lie or obfuscate or change their minds...

Santos Trafficante testified at the House Select Committee on Assassinations in the mid 70's and said FBI contracted the mob for short hits and he laughed at the committee and said you didn't know this? Apparently your branches don't communicate with anyone. How can you operate? Richard Helms,Director of the CIA also testified to the commitee that Clay Shaw was CIA. Mob used Ruby to deliver money to Castro to release Trafficante from prison. Mafia was spending money to purchase weapons for the Bay of Pigs invasion. They wanted their casinos back.

Release the files. Any further "review" or "investigation" after everything has been reviewed and investigated for decades will do nothing but brew more doubt. There is no reason to form another committee.

Nah. They've had decades of "management" and "business". The whole point is not to have the information filtered through yet another third party.
ETA: There has been absolutely nothing new in how long? There are no surprises left. Release the files.

Watch you tube “Confession of Kennedy Assination From Prison”. Claims he was one of the shooters and it was planned by Mafia, CIA and FBI. He has all the details.

The simple truth that will come out soon (maybe)
My dad was one of those functional alcoholic professional guys in the underground card games that used to be all over the South before casinos were everywhere. Just like Barry Seal just knew everyone and was widely liked. (HE also had like 3 or 4 degrees as was ridiculously smart.)
He also lived in Alaska for a decade or so and met a bunch of mafia guys and spooks up there “hiding out” etc, and was married to a mafia family in the 80s. My stepmom’s brother was a member of the Carlos Marcellus organization. I am sure he did some smuggling as well and was partners with some well-known mobsters in a bar in Biloxi at one time.
Everyone on the Coast thought he was in the mob or something when I was growing up. (Had some advantages nobody ever fricked with me) He promised me that he wasn't in the mob just had some friends that were, but always countered saying he had lots of friends that were in law enforcement too. (Honestly, not much difference in the 80s on the Mississippi Coast)
He was single, for about 5 years until he remarried for the 4th or 5th time. So we lived together and were very close until he died when I was 19. We were as much buddies as Father and son and I was treated like an adult by everyone around him since I was about 13.
I have a bunch of mob and crime stories, and could probably write a book. I was almost shot by accident more than once, and maybe almost killed by mistake in a situation between New Orleans and Chicago over a smuggling boat that required intervention, was solicited by much older women many times, and two just got into bed with me naked. (one by mistake one not sure) That is my source.
Anyway, what I know from him.
Oswald was a known CIA asset.
Barry Seal was a CIA asset, (watch Cocaine Cowboys if you doubt it when the mob guy states this emphatically) My dad said Barry had an “oh shucks” good old boy persona but was one of smartest people he ever meet, and damn near invincible card player until
he got drunk. He also said Barry had a photographic memory and could walk into a room walk out and describe the room and everything in it in complete detail, and was an incredible pilot. Barry was the pilot for the other asset shooter and flew him out after the shooter.
The CIA were involved in the assassination. They had numerous reasons to get rid of him. He was threating them.
The Cuban ex-pat community was involved in the assassination. They felt betrayed over bay of pigs lack of air support.
Carlos Marcellus was personally involved in the JFK assassination. His brother kidnapped him and had him dropped off in a jungle in South America so he was pissed and the mob felt betrayed as they helped him get elected.
JFK was a threat, and a security risk and had to go, as did his brother, it’s just that simple.

JFK’s head moved slightly forward and then recoiled from the rear head shot. Shown in the films. Ballistics and physics.

Naturally in a timeframe it takes place in fractions of a second, so fast that you wouldn't see it with the naked eye, you would merely see the animal fall, but on a high speed motion picture you can see the process. But it appears to have moved slightly. And this would not be inconsistent with the momentum of the bullet being transferred to the head. Whereas I said a bullet cannot knock a person down or move a body in any violent way, it could conceivably move the head a little bit. We fired at human skulls filled with gelatin sitting on the table, and they would roll off the table.
