Rev. Jesse Jackson referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown" in January 1984 during a conversation with a black Washington Post reporter, Milton Coleman.

So you're going to be myopic Roger?

Jesse did not care about religious affiliation nor the race of the hundreds of US Citizens/ soldiers he secured , or attempted to secure , the release of from war zones/ hostile countries. Most were White I'm assuming.

At least 1 poster managed to admit Jesse did some real good Patrioic things .

Eddie Murphy did a brilliant SNL skit impersonating Jackson & singing " Don't let me down Hymie Town" . Hi!arious.

Jesse Jackson doesn't bother me as much as Sharpton. Sharpton is a bottom feeding piece of shite while Jackson at least seems to pick his fights now. The worst part about both is that they could do a lot of good but they are such garbage for the black community.

To for one minute ascribe premium negotiating skills to the Reverend Jackson with regard to the two isolated cases the OP cites is a stretch at best. The complex geopolitical situations for each made it expedient for the hostage-takers to release their hostages. The unofficial representative from the US could have been this guy and the releases would have still happened-

tl/dr: OP Troll Attempt
