Here's a thought experiment:
Think about what a jury of 12 people drawn from the city of Birmingham (not its suburbs) might look like.
Now consider the odds that all twelve of those people will vote to convict this guy for inciting others to remove a monument to the Confederacy...
which the city of Birmingham has itself been trying to remove for years...
after he gave a speech asking people not to destroy businesses or historical Civil Rights landmarks...
the night before the monument was removed by the same city that's now charging him.
Something tells me Jermaine's gonna be alright.
