Since this thread is full of bs, I will arbitrarily say that Epstein was moved to Witness Protection and a stiff was rolled to the hospital.

That's not how WPP works. The idea is to get them to court safely for them to testify first and THEN wisk them away so the mobsters can't retaliate.
Pre-trial there was nowhere safer for Epstein than in a high security jail cell. Which is exactly where he was. Post trial Epstein would be put in prison anyway, as there's no way he makes a deal for no jail time. Ain't happening this time around.
Only people gonna be able to touch him in there would have to be govt officials. Either officials paid off by some entity or officials who themselves could be implicated. It would be impossible to pay off that many people at the prison without getting caught, so I suspect only a few higher ups were involved. The guards themselves likely had no involvement - they just left for "maintenance" as they were told.
Either that or he really did commit suicide.
