Kids are incredibly adaptive. You'd be surprised.

Mine do too. I have two of the most obstinate kids in the world. They go into what I call "mule mode" when they put up a stonewall and get as stubborn as it can get about something.

But, even they have been good about putting their masks on when told to do so. It wasn't that way at first, but over time they've gotten used to it.

I would suggest to all the moms and dads out there to start having that conversation now. They're gonna have to wear masks at school for God knows how long. It's fricking retarded, but what else you gonna do?

According to teachers on Facebook, opening schools now will bring about the apocalypse. As such, they're getting life insurance and updating their wills. I'm not kidding.

95% of the kids will wear one without any sort of problem.

5%, the same 5% that never behave in class, and are always disruptive and cause problems, will cause problems with wearing a mask as well.

And I got a good feeling that they are picking up that attitude from their parents.

Isn't the transmission % super low for a kid to give to an older person and yesterday of I read an article from an Epidemiologist that said in so many words that kids are the "bakes" of this virus meaning they don't really give it to people and it dies in them.

The children wearing masks thing lasted 1/2 day literally at the summer camp my kids are at. It’s simply impossible for young children to be forced into doing that.

Summer camp: running around playing games all day long.

School: Sitting in a desk / at a table and not running around playing games all day long.

I can see where kids running around all day, masks would be an issue, this is different.

I'm not gonna speculate or judge. But I will say that people get a bit dramatic about the idea behind wearing a mask. I mean I can't stand the idea of my kids walking around with a mask on all day. But I'm not gonna sit here and say it's impossible.

With the mask mandate in LA, the kids are having to wear masks when they go to a lot of places anyways. My kids are used to it by now. Their mother bought them some "cute" ones so they like to wear them.
